poster design
As a freelance designer for two dynamic production companies, I've crafted captivating posters for various shows. Infusing illustrations WITH designs, I've honed skills in layout, typography, coloUr theory, and composition, ensuring each poster stands out. My work also focuses on effective event promotion through custom Instagram ads and banners, leveraging tools like Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and my Wacom tablet to bring visions to life.
corn & me (this isn’t about corn)
A semi-biographical tale. Tiwai Muza, a porn addict, has finally decided to seek professional help about his addiction. He has jumped on the band wagon and gone to therapy. Where he goes on a journey through his first encounters with porn, drunken sexual exploits, porn dependencies, anxiety induced imaginations and more. Because, after all, if we can't trust our deepest secrets to be safe in the therapist's office, then where can we?
IT takes two
It Takes Two was a production by Any Second Now that explored various kinds of relationships. I was asked to design a poster in a racE- and gender-neutral manner. Inspired by Michelangelo's painting, I hand-drew two hands in Photoshop using a Wacom tablet. The show's success led to further collaborations, where I created additional posters in different colours, along with social media assets and banners.
project chuckle
I designed this poster for project chuckle, a writing event by Velvet Smoke productions, which consisted of 4 comedic monologues by emerging artists.
the fallen follie
"The Fallen Follie" encapsulates the essence of the roaring 20s in a captivating one-woman show. Transporting audiences to the glamorous era, the poster features a hand-drawn illustration of a woman adorned in iconic 1920s attire. The bold lettering, reminiscent of the period's distinctive style, completes the captivating design, inviting viewers into a world of intrigue and allure.
